Course Rep of the Month is our scheme designed to recognise and reward the hard work that our amazing Course Reps do! Each month we award the Course Rep of the Month title to a rep from each faculty (Science and Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Medicine and Dentistry).

    My experience as a course rep has been enriching and full of learning. It has not only helped me connect with my fellow students but with the faculty and other course reps as well. I have had the opportunity to serve as the voice of my fellow students and hopefully make an impact to their learning experience at QMUL. I also have the highest regards for my lecturers, programme directors, senior tutors and all members of faculty for trusting me with this role and I hope to continue making an impact.

    My time as course rep has been an incredibly rewarding experience, one that I’ll always look back on fondly. It gave me the opportunity to be a voice for my peers, ensuring their concerns were heard and acted upon. Beyond the responsibilities, it allowed me to develop invaluable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving.     I’m truly honoured to be recognised as Course rep of the month! Although there is still much to accomplish, the key focus so far has been working to bring students at the center of discussions. Together, as a team, alongside other SPIR Course Reps and staff, we work to advocate for ways to enhance the student experience and make sure that student voices are heard in every decision. While our work as Course Reps isn’t always visible, we are among you, listening and taking note when things aren’t right.
