If you have a complaint that you believe can be resolved informally, we encourage you to address the issue directly with the relevant club or individual. However, please note that informal complaints or resolutions may not be suitable for more serious matters, such as incidents involving violent, indecent, disorderly, intimidating, or offensive behaviour or language, or any form of sexual misconduct. In such cases, it is important to submit a Formal Complaint using the form provided below.
When submitting a complaint, please include the following details to ensure a thorough review can take place:
- Background Information: Provide a detailed account of the situation, including any relevant context that led to your complaint.
- Individuals Involved: List the names of any persons directly involved in the matter.
- Informal Resolution Attempts: Describe any steps you have already taken to resolve the issue informally, including the names of individuals you have spoken with.
- Reason for Escalation: Explain why the outcome of your informal resolution attempt(s) was unsatisfactory or was not a suitable cause of action and outline what you consider to be a satisfactory resolution through the formal complaint procedure.
For group complaints, or if raising a concern on behalf of someone else, you may act as the main point of contact and will be expected to communicate with those involved.
