About the role:

The BLSA community doesn’t end when you graduate, thanks to the Alumni Officer who’s responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Barts and The London graduates. You’ll work as part of the Operations Team with the VP Barts (Operations) to provide regular updates to Barts and the London graduates and support with events and activities. You’ll also liaise with the BATLAA (Barts and The London Alumni Association), the Vice President Barts and The London, and the University Alumni team. This position also helps to facilitate relationships between Barts and The London sports clubs and Societies and Barts and The London graduates. This is a non-representative position and does not sit on Student Council.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with Barts and the London graduates
  • Liase with BATLAA (Barts and the London Alumni Association)
  • Collaborate with the BLSA President and the University Alumni Team to provide regular updates to BLSA graduates
  • Attend relevant meetings within the Students’ Union and the university (see list of compulsory meetings below)
  • Support the planning and delivery of events for BLSA graduates
  • Facilitate collaboration between BLSA graduates and BLSA student groups and representatives

 

Meetings that I attend:
  • BLSA Board (2 hour meeting, six times a year)
  • Student Council (2 hour meeting, five times a year)
