We are thrilled that some of our students won awards at the Reach Out Volunteering Thank You Event.
On Tuesday, Reach Out held their favourite event of the year – the Volunteer Thank You Event in London. This is their biggest volunteering event of the year where they get the opportunity to thank all of the amazing volunteers for their hard work mentoring on projects. Volunteers had the chance to meet other mentors from across London, hear some of our highlights from the year and find out if they won any of our annual awards.
We are thrilled that some of our students won awards on the night. We are so proud of everything that they have achieved this year - and remember, the below names are just a few of many more QMUL students that have been giving their time to ReachOut in 2022-23:

Reach Out is a national mentoring and education charity that support young people to grow in character and confidence, sparking change in themselves and society. Queen Mary students have given their time as mentors and project leaders.
As a mentor you’ll give two hours a week during term time where you will be paired with a young person and meet each week over the course of the school year. You’ll spend time with them, supporting with basic maths and English as well as working with them as part of character-building group activities.
