Welcome to the Desi Society!
Our goal is to bring individuals together from various Desi backgrounds, particularly the South Asian region.
We intend to serve as a hub for students from predominantly South Asian backgrounds, making them feel at home away from home. We also hope to educate people about South Asian countries in order to obtain a better understanding of historical and current events, as well as to foster a stronger link and admiration for each ethnicity.
We will conduct activities such as Chat & Chai, Bollywood nights, Henna parties, Cultural food days, trips to museums/places related to South Asian culture, and Cricket matches to promote South Asian culture.
