Welcome to BL Volleyball!! We’re a relatively new club, filled with enthusiastic, fun, friendly members, eager to play some volleyball, regardless of your level.
Everyone is welcome, whether it is to share your love for volleyball during our training sessions, or come to the Wednesday socials to make the best memories and friends for life!
We hope to make this club a massive success, and watch it expand even more as we continue to get new members! We can’t wait to see and meet you all, both on court and in the Griff or our wide range of other social events!
Taster Session
We will have our FREE taster recreational session on 23rd September, 17:30 to 19:00 at Bow School (E3 3QW). This session is completely free! All you need to do is wear comfy clothes, shoes, and bring your enthusiasm!
*knee and elbow pads are optional, but recommended
Recreational Sessions
Our recreational session will be on Mondays, 17:30 to 19:00 at Bow School (E3 3QW). These sessions are for players of all abilities, with a coach present to run it. However to attend, you must have paid subs.
Competitive team
Tryouts for the competitive team will be announced soon. An opportunity to play at a competitive level in BUCS and LUSL tournaments with other universities (Men's and Women's teams). These members will also have exclusive training sessions on Saturdays. Requires subs to have been paid.
Club Socials
We hold club socials (Tables/Final whistle) at the Griff Inn. It’s an evening of games, socialising, and dancing along with several other sports clubs at Barts. Everyone is welcome - both drinkers and non-drinkers!
Apart from this, other social events (Karaoke, Ice skating, Movie nights etc.) are posted on the WhatsApp group chat and on our Instagram page, so keep your eyes out for any updates there.
