Biological Sciences Society

Welcome to the official QMUL Biological Sciences Society (or BIOSOC for short)!

We are open to all students from SBBS and anyone with a passion for biology. Whilst we are an academic society, we will focus on creating a community within SBBS where you can bond with students from other years/courses. We will also provide ample opportunity to engage with academics outside of class so that you can learn something new!

We aim to be an active society with events most weeks, including:

• Museum visits
• Field trips
• Movie nights
• Lectures
• And more…

Please note that all of our main events will be open to all students (with a small fee), but members will gain various benefits:

• Free events
• Early notifications for some of our events (some may be on a first-come, first-served basis)
• Reduced entry to big external events
• Exclusive members-only activities

If you are a current student at Queen Mary, the Standard Membership is intended for you.
If you would like to join us from a different university, have already graduated or are a member of the public, you can get the Associate's Membership.
