About
Hello and welcome to German Society! Whether you're learning German, speak German, have German heritage, or just want to come make friends, everyone is welcome!
 
We actively stride to create a sense of community (Gemeinschaftsgefühl).  This includes our own dedicated welfare officer, and a society that's open to everyone!  We aim to provide cultural events and festivities as well as social nights in Drapers.  Due to Covid last year, this year's committee is more determined than ever to offer a wide range of events, including:
  • Our Weekly Stammtisch (Informal meeting)
  • German Literature Readings
  • Cultural Events/Festivities
  • German Restaurant Trips
  • Grammar & Pronunciation Workshops (varying levels)

We are also open to questions and suggestions so please get in touch with us if you have any!

We are hoping to start a whatsapp chat in September 2021 so keep an eye out for that!
