Queen Mary Netball Club is one of the most active clubs at Queen Mary University and the winner of the QMSU Club of the Year 17/18. We welcome all individuals, whether you’ve been playing all your life or have never played before. No matter what your ability, there is a team for you!
In the 24-25 academic year, we have three competitive teams that compete in both BUCS South Eastern Division Leagues 2-10 and LUSL Leagues. We have another additional competitive team that competes solely in the LUSL League. We have three development teams that compete in the QMSU Sports Social League.
Getting involved in QM Netball will bring out the best of being at Queen Mary. Fundamentally we offer the opportunity to keep fit and play the biggest women's sport in the UK, but we do so much more. We offer umpiring courses, volunteering opportunities in the local community, the chance to organise award-winning charity events, and promote personal development through our campaigning. Our strong welfare network ensures integration between year groups as well as assuring that each member is completely supported by their peers throughout the entirety of their degree. If you're looking to throw yourself into a competitive sport, or simply be a part of the biggest girl gang on campus, QM Netball has a place for everyone!

Taster Sessions
There will be taster sessions for everyone who is interested in joining our development teams. The taster session will be held at St Paul's Way Trust School on Tuesday 1st October between 18:00-19:30.
Trials
The first round of trials for Competitive Teams will happen on Tuesday 24th September between 18:00-21:00 at St Pauls Way. The second round of trials is by invitation only on Friday 27th September 18:00-20:00. There is a one-off trial fee of £4 to pay that can be purchased via this webpage (the SU website).
Since trials are before the taster session, even if you are unsure about joining competitive (for reasons of ability or being nervous), sign up and come as you may be surprised! The trials are just a series of mini-games to see how you play, so we are also there for a bit of fun. Please also ensure that you are aware of what is expected of you in competitive and are willing to commit. If you get put into a team and do change your mind, please contact Emma Scott (president)!
