This 45 min class is designed to teach you the basics of weightlifting, including correct and safe technique and to give this activity a go in a safe and informative space. Following this class will be a lunch in Drapers Lounge with a nutrition and wellbeing talk by Rebecca, Qmotion Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach. All participants of the class will also get 50% off food and soft drinks at Drapers for the lunch talk!

Hi everyone, I'm Rebecca and I'm so excited to be running the Lift and Lunch session this year! I'll be teaching you how to safely perform some fundamental barbell exercises, then we'll have a discussion about the benefits of physical activity and some factors that might be preventing you from sticking to your workout regimes.
I've been working as a Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer at Qmotion for almost four years now and am currently studying an MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology, and I can't wait to share the knowledge I have learned so far with you!
