Volunteering Fair 2025!

Wednesday 12 February 2025, 1pm - 4pm

Blomeley Rooms 1 & 2
About this event

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in your community, develop skills that will look amazing on your CV, and make new connections.

QMSU Volunteering partner with a range of community volunteering organisations who post volunteering opportunities to our website. There are opportunities available in Tower Hamlets and across London to suit your interests, whether you would like to mentor a young person, distribute meals to help alleviate food poverty, or befriend a lonely older person in the local community.

You can find a full list of our current opportunities available here, but if you'd like to meet some of the organisations we partner with in person, come along to our Volunteering Fair!

It's a relaxed, free event, where you can visit stalls and find a great volunteering opportunity that fits around your other commitments.

The QMSU Volunteering team will have a stall at the Fair too, if you had any questions at all or if you'd like to find out more about our "Give Volunteering A Go" programme, if you are interested in one-off event day volunteering.

To apply for opportunities at the Fair in one click, you might want to create a volunteer profile. You can do this by going to our 'Get involved' page, clicking '1. How do I take part?', then 'Create a profile'.

Want to find out more? Come by the Blomeley rooms 1 & 2 on the ground floor of the Student Union Hub, on Wednesday the 12th of September between 13:00-16:00. This event is part of our Student Volunteer Week, a programme of events that showcase the benefits of student volunteering.

See you then! :)
