About this event
Addressing and Tackling Unconscious Bias

Join us for an engaging and interactive training session focused on understanding and addressing unconscious bias related to cultural, racial, and geographical backgrounds. Led by an expert speaker, Ashraf Nehal, this session will combine personal insights with evidence-based strategies to shed light on how these biases influence our everyday decisions, interactions, and attitudes—often without us even realizing it.

As part of Queen Mary’s Cultural Unity Week, this training offers a safe and open space for participants to reflect, discuss, and collaborate on fostering inclusion and equality in our diverse society. As a student, this session is an opportunity to build your skills, broaden your perspective, and contribute to a more connected and equitable environment.

This session is also part of the QM Skills Award and counts towards gaining the award.
