Volunteering Board Elections 2024/25

The Volunteering Board is an elected board of students from the Students’ Union community volunteering activities to develop and help steer the management of volunteering. It represents Volunteering Groups that are affiliated to the Students’ Union and the other strands of the community volunteering service (charity partners and Give Volunteering a Go). There are 6 positions up for election, which are: - 2 Mile End Volunteering Group board members: A representative who has volunteered within a student-led group which runs activities in the local and wider community to bring about positive change affiliated to the Students’ Union (based at Mile End). - 2 BL Volunteering Group members: A representative who has volunteered within a student-led group which runs activities in the local and wider community to bring about positive change affiliated to the Students’ Union (based at Barts and The London). - 1 Community Volunteer (Charity Partner): A representative who has volunteered in the local community through one of our approved charity partners as listed on the Students’ Union website. - 1 Community Volunteer (Give Volunteering A Go) board member: A representative who has volunteered at a Give Volunteering a Go opportunity, a series of one-off volunteering activities.
