I’m excited to become your next Promotions Officer, and I’m here to share why your vote for me would mean the inclusion of a dedicated and enthusiastic voice for Teddy Bear Hospital and the wonderful impact it has on young children all over London.
Effective Communication: Communication is key to success in this role, and I am prepared to expand our reach and involvement in enriching health education to children to the local community and beyond. I previously spent almost a year working full-time in a school so am very proficient in staying on top of tasks and keeping organised, as well as communicating with academic staff, admin staff as well as children from diverse backgrounds which is the perfect balance for this role.
Adaptability and Flexibility: I understand the integral role of organising sessions within our society, and it begins with me. While I prioritise preparedness and forward planning, I acknowledge that unforeseen setbacks can occur. Adaptability is crucial for ensuring the success of each clinic. My experience volunteering at a local ballet school, particularly during exam periods, has equipped me with invaluable problem-solving and initiative-taking skills, preparing me to tackle any challenges in this role.
Enthusiasm and Warmth: With every interaction, I bring enthusiasm, warmth, and a genuine smile. Together, we can create a welcoming and inclusive community that spreads our impact in more ways than one. I'm passionate about working with children and dedicated to making a positive difference in their lives through the Teddy Bear Hospital. This can start with the face of the society through social media so I will make every effort to showcase the wonderful impacts of our volunteers.
