My goals are based on feedback YOU guys gave this year...
- Ensure new volunteers are confident in what to do by having dedicated sessions to practice before
- Reorganise and revamp our equipment
- Push for our RLH drop ins: aim to get us back to the outpatient wards and seeing more children
- Refine and develop current clinic stations: create more focused GP station structure
- Expand what we offer volunteers: social events, welfare check ins, fundraising opportunities and paediatric learning
- Expand on the WhatsApp group (which I helped to push for...) and how it can be used for societal engagement
- Work to push our Outreach clinic
- Working with local schools to organise more amazing clinics
- Collect feedback to make our sessions the best they can be!
My Experience?
- Experience as TBH Team Leader and Welfare Rep so know the society well
- Captain of Barts Women’s Football so experience in leadership
- Street Doctor’s Volunteer and Nursery Assistant during holidays so experience working with children
- In2MS and SAMDA volunteer helping prospective medics
- If TBH has one fan left that fan is me: regular volunteer from first year
