Hi everyone!

My name is Alicia and I'm currently a 3rd year medical student. 

I joined Teddy Bear Hospital at the beginning of the year and I have truly enjoyed the volunteering with everyone. I have had the priviledge to meet so many amazing fellow teddy bear doctors and dentist while volunteering and am looking forward to meet many more.

I have attended quite a few clinics so I have a good insight on how the clinics run. 

A little about me:

• Friendly and approachable- which I believe is essential for this role so volunteers can easiley come to me can always ask me advice.
•  Organization and communication- I like to think of myself as an organised individual. I always make it a point to finish task on time and to keep on top of everything including replying to email and messages in a timely manner. I think this makes me a good candidate for the secreatorial position. 
• Good listener- I always make it a point to give my full attention. Creating a safe space for open communication.
• Team player- I have been part of multiple societies and am quite comfortable working in a team. I believe my experince then woudl be valauble when it comes to wokring closely with all the members to ensure clinics run smoothly.

As secretary, I will give it my all to ensure every TBH clinic runs as smoothly as possible for all!
