my name is Deon, 19 years old and studying Econ, Finance & Management.
applying for sanskaar role.
I think I would be the perfect person for this job because I’ve got the right ratio of westernised to cultural (not gonna lie I am probably more on the cultural side).
I can play a few Indian musical instruments - harmonium, dholak, tabla, kinda sing and chant some mantras (emphasis on KINDA).
If we ever did prayers/puja on campus - I’ll defo be the guy to come in a kurta and look good in it (just joking!)
not only about hindu and prayers and that but also massive fan of bollywood and movies and songs.
When we do puja on campus, I’ll be defo be happy to lead us into prayers for the different festivals bring my instruments and sing or chant! And try to make it a bit more approachable for other students to attend pujas!
