- An another purpose is organizing events for everyone passionate about Italian food,history and culture to learn more about it
Ciao guys, my name is Purneet, I’m 19 and I’m from Italy. I decided to candidate myself for the President of the Society because I would love to take on the great work and support its committee has provided during this difficult year. I would like to create a beautiful environment where not only Italian students, but everyone passionate about Italian culture, are welcomed. I am a first-year student but with my little experience I would like to provide guidance to first-year students who, like me, may find it difficult to settle in the university world, and to provide support for everyone who feels homesick and alone, especially in times of a pandemic. I’ve been my high school’s rep for two years in a row and I would like to use the skills I’ve developed there to represent you and help you!
Lastly, I would love to organize cultural events where everyone can learn more about the rich Italian culture, that’s not only mozzarella, pizza and pasta!
